WHO WE ARE
A Consulting Practice Built on the Plant Floor
Maruwa was established to support Thai manufacturers who want a practical, calm view of how their operations run — and where they can move more steadily.

How Maruwa Came to Be
Maruwa started from a simple observation: many small manufacturers in the greater Bangkok area were running operations that had grown organically over years, with routines that nobody had ever sat down to examine. The line worked, more or less — but time was being lost in ways that were hard to see from inside the business.
Our founding team came from backgrounds in industrial process work and operational support across manufacturing sites in the Eastern Seaboard region. We had seen the difference a clear-eyed walkthrough could make — not a sweeping reorganisation, just a careful look at what was happening and a few measured changes.
We established Maruwa at Bang Phli Industrial Estate to be close to the manufacturers we work with. We wanted to be the kind of consultant who could come in on a Tuesday morning, walk the line, and have useful notes ready by the afternoon — not a large team producing thick reports over several months.
Today our work covers three service types, each sized differently, but all rooted in the same approach: observe carefully, involve the floor team, agree on changes together, and document them clearly so the knowledge stays with your operation.
Our Purpose
To give small and growing manufacturers in Thailand a clear, practical view of their operations — and to support the steady, low-disruption changes that make production more comfortable to run.
Our Approach
We start with observation, not recommendations. Only after we understand how a line actually operates do we suggest anything. Changes are tested before they become standard, and the agreed way of working is always written down.
Our Commitment
We work alongside your people, not above them. The operators and supervisors who know your line best are the ones who shape the improvements. Our role is to structure the conversation and record what is agreed.
THE TEAM
The People Behind Maruwa
Krit Pongpaiboon
Lead Consultant
Fifteen years spent on manufacturing floors in Samut Prakan and Chonburi, with particular focus on assembly sequencing and labour routing in mid-size facilities.
Nantawan Wiriyarat
Process Documentation Specialist
Leads all standard work documentation and line-map production. Ensures that every engagement ends with materials that are clear enough for any new operator to follow.
Anuwat Charoenwong
Advisory Engagement Manager
Manages ongoing advisory relationships with plant leadership teams, coordinating regular site visits and quarterly reviews across our active manufacturing clients.
HOW WE WORK
Our Working Standards
Every engagement we take on follows the same underlying principles, regardless of scope or duration.
Observation Before Opinion
We do not arrive with a fixed framework to apply. We observe the actual situation first, and our notes reflect what we saw — not what we expected to see.
Confidentiality
Production data, operational details and client identities are treated as confidential. We do not reference one client's situation when working with another. Non-disclosure agreements are available on request.
Written Outputs
Every engagement produces a written record — a line map, a standard routine document, or a session summary — so the knowledge does not walk out the door when we leave.
Team Inclusion
We include floor operators and line supervisors in discussions about changes. Their understanding of the process is the most reliable input available, and they are more likely to follow a routine they helped to shape.
Measured Steps
Changes are introduced and observed before being formalised. We do not recommend large simultaneous changes to a running production line. Steady, tested adjustments are less disruptive and easier to sustain.
Plain Communication
Our notes and documents use plain language. We avoid jargon that is unfamiliar to the people who will use the materials day to day. A standard work document should be readable by any member of the line team.
CONTEXT
Manufacturing Consulting in Thailand's Industrial Corridor
The Bang Phli–Bang Sao Thong corridor in Samut Prakan sits within one of Thailand's most active manufacturing zones. The area hosts a wide range of producers — from automotive components and electronics assembly to food processing and industrial goods — and the operational challenges they face share common patterns: lines that have grown informally, handoff points where timing is lost, and standard routines that exist mainly in people's heads rather than in written form.
Maruwa's location at the Bang Phli Industrial Estate is deliberate. Working within the same industrial community as our clients means short travel times, familiarity with local logistics, and an understanding of the labour and infrastructure context that shapes how Thai manufacturers operate. We are not a Bangkok office visiting occasionally — we are a neighbour.
Our consulting work draws on knowledge of lean production principles, standard work development, and production line observation methods — applied in ways that are proportionate to the size and readiness of the operation. We do not import large corporate methodologies unchanged. We adapt the thinking to what a small Thai manufacturer can actually absorb and sustain with its existing team.
The three service types we offer — a production walkthrough, a project-based improvement engagement, and an ongoing advisory relationship — reflect three different points in a manufacturer's journey. Some operations need a fresh pair of eyes for a day. Others are ready to work through a defined improvement cycle. Some plant leaders find value in a steady outside perspective over a longer period. Each path is legitimate, and we do not push clients toward a more expensive engagement than their situation calls for.
